The last 9 months!

It was a September morning when the home pregnancy test was positive! God had his perfect timing with us we thought, but one after the other we faced challenges.

It started out with my mom’s massive heart attack in November, and then my Father in law had to be operated in Feb. We thought things will settle down, we will be out of the tunnel soon. But we had another shock, just an hour at a park led to my daughter fracturing her leg. We wondered what God was upto?

In the midst of all, we purchased a flat suddenly and we were running errands with the loan processing, registration, painting, grills and other things.. It was a massive piece of work we were involved in.

Despite all this, both of us managed to work 12 hours a day, and for my husband it was new job!!. But God was with us through it all. His provisions were ever sufficient. We got a maid for taking care of my daughter when we needed the most, we got a cook just at the right time. And most of all my parents were supportive!

The last 9 months have helped me practice faith in God and to know that its not the storms around that matter, when we trust God, there is an overflowing of Peace that passeth all understanding!! (This post makes it look easy peasy, however there is so much that went into these nine months!!)

We have as a family learnt one thing – In everything give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. – 1 Thessalonians 5:18

As we look forward to the future, we are well aware that there will be trials, challenges and we do not have the ability and strength to overcome on our own but we fully trust God that he is able!!

  1. Oh, sending prayers and warm wishes your way, Vino. I love that you have been able to find God in all the struggles, and hold on to him (though I know it’s been a lot harder than this post made it seem). It’s good to be able to look back in hindsight and see him there, even when we can’t find him in the present. Praying for good things in the future.

    1. Thank you Lindsey, yes you are absolutely right… The post makes it look a lot simpler than it actually was… But I definitely see a difference in my first and the second pregnancy… I have a post for it once im able to write after the second one comes in… And you know how hard it is to write after the baby is out 😀 😀
